The day couldn’t have been any better for a lavish beach barbecue at beautiful Prickly Pear Island in the British Virgin Islands. During a recent visit, Seabourn Legend anchored off the coast of the island, where guests experienced an unforgettable day that included a delicious barbeque lunch, watersports, and plenty of time to soak up the sun on a beautiful beach. During the 15 months between January 2011 and April 2012, Seabourn will offer its most extensive and diverse menu of itineraries ever, calling at a record 266 ports in 78 countries during 252 scheduled voyages.. On a recent visit to Deshaies, Guadeloupe, the weather was so fantastic that the staff aboard Seabourn Legend decided to deploy the marina and offer guests a lovely afternoon of water sports off the marina. Kayaks, banana boats, and waterskiing were available right from the back of Legend for our guests to enjoy on this beautiful day in Deshaies.
In these photos, you can see the preparations of getting the floating pool-cage into the water and the end result of guests enjoying a wonderful afternoon onboard Seabourn Legend.

This winter season, Seabourn Spirit sailed to South America for the first time, circling around this diverse region that is home to some of the world’s most beautiful natural wonders and magnificent landscapes. One of the most memorable “calls” took place in February, when Spirit sailed to Cape Horn, the southernmost part of South America. (more…)

In about three months, Seabourn Sojourn will be introduced to the world, and hundreds of guests will come on board and enjoy Seabourn’s highly-acclaimed cuisine – whether it’s breakfast in the Colonnade or a gourmet dining experience in The Restaurant. Staff at the shipyard is working tirelessly to make sure Sojourn’s dining rooms will be top-notch, and excellent progress is being made in both the Colonnade and the Restaurant. (more…)
