We just returned from our third Seabourn cruise. This one on the Spirit. We were on a back to back cruise leavingt Civitavecchia on 27 June. Everything was great, however I wanted to comment on Captain Emil Holthe. The captains on the other cruises were good, but Captain Holthe was outstanding.
He was hightly visible, you would see him several times a day and he always took the time to greet you and ask about your day. When we departed the ship the Captain was at the bottom of the gangway shaking hands and saying goodbye to all of the departing passengers.

We cruise on the Spirit in February of 2010 and hope he will still be in command.
