On Wednesday night, Seabourn was honored by Condé Nast Traveler as their “Readers’ Choice” for the World’s Best Small Ship Cruise Line. Over 32,000 readers voted in the annual poll, evaluating cruise lines in categories such as accommodations, service, activities, dining, shore excursions and itineraries. The Yachts of Seabourn came out on top. To say Seabourn is excited is an understatement, but they are more honored than anything else.
“We’re delighted to have been voted the #1 Small Ship Cruise Line by readers of Condé Nast Traveler, who are as smart and sophisticated as the travel magazine they read,” said Pamela Conover, President and CEO of The Yachts of Seabourn. “The award is a great honor for all of us, but especially for the hard-working employees who make Seabourn the finest experience on the seas.”
The awards gala was a splashy, celebrity-hosted event with a “Dream Trip” theme. When Pam Conover was asked what her dream trip would be, she cleverly mentioned Seabourn’s President’s Cruise, and with good reason. It seems her dream will come true next January 31 when she boards Seabourn Spirit on a 14-day journey from Hong Kong to Singapore and down the coast of Vietnam.”It’s really an opportunity to visit those places in Vietnam that it’s hard to do by land,” she said. Send us pictures, Pam!

Thanks for blogging; I’m glad I found you and I’m glad that your company is “getting on board” with Web 2.0/social media.
I live-tweeted the Readers’ Choice Awards on Twitter for Condé Nast Traveler and then blogged about it – I know you must be excited about your win (that party where the photo was taken was deafening, wasn’t it?!)
