My wife and I had a most enjoyable cruise in March 2010 Hong-Kong to Singapore and have fond memories of the good ship "SPIRIT".
We are now booked for a shorter cruise on the "LEGEND" leaving St. Thomas on February 25. We hope the "LEGEND" is as goos as the "SPIRIT".
Please advise us if there is going to be a black-tie evening for this curise (we had two on the "SPIRIT") so we will pack our formal attire.
Thanks and regards,
R. Benvenuto, MD

I wanted the Seabourn management to know about a recent experience we had: Mary and I were scheduled to sail on an Oceania Cruise, starting today, Thursday, the 13th of January. On Thursday, the 6th of January, we got a call from our travel agent, saying that there was an overbooking problem and Oceania would offer us an incentive to give up our reservation, for which they would give us a cash incentive of $3400. We really thought about it but, ultimately, decided to accept it, since my wife, Mary, had found your cruise scheduled for March 26th, on the new Sojourn, for the Arabian peninsula. After ascertaining all the costs involved, we decided to go with Seabourn, as we have cruised with you several times and feel you are the best in the industry. We have cruised with you, Crystal, Regent, and all the major cruise lines sailing from America and have found you to be the best, overall. Please be aware that this is not anything but a real compliment to Seabourn! We don't need any response to this e-mail. You have proven yourselves to be the best in the industry, through your excellent service, your fine cuisine, your beautiful ships and your dedication to your patrons. We applaud you and look forward eagerly to our upcoming cruise.
Keep up the geat work you do!
